Have you noticed the number 13 frequently appearing in many places within the VITC community? Perhaps the most ubiquitous is Atlas Bot’s random tipping which is always 13 VITC (well, except for the rare jackpot 69 VITC). Ever wondered why it seems to be a favourite number here?
The number 13 has been associated with being unlucky or with other unpleasant things –- and quite unfairly too. As far as VITC is concerned, however, 13 is a very important number. It represents the number of essential vitamins and minerals that our bodies need for healthy function. These are: Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Riboflavin, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, and Folate.
Aiming to help raise awareness on the importance of these 13 vitamins and minerals, we are hosting THE GOOD 13 (Poster-Making Contest) with the VITC slogan: Let your health be your wealth.
Pick a specific essential vitamin or mineral out of the 13, create an eye-catching and fun handcrafted poster that highlights the importance and good sources of your chosen subject, share your work via Twitter and share it to our Discord event channel.
Each of the abovementioned essential vitamins and minerals is an entry category and one preliminary winner will be chosen for each of the categories. Out of the 13 preliminary winners, we will choose the winners for the 3rd prize, 2nd prize, and 1st prize.
Contest entries will be judged on the following criteria: creativity and originality, adherence to the theme/clarity of message, and overall presentation.
Rules
Each entry must have the author’s written Discord username in it
Each entry must have the contest title: THE GOOD 13 (Essential Vitamins and Minerals)
Each entry must have the VITC slogan: Let your health be your wealth
All participants are free to submit entries for as many categories as they wish
Post entries on Twitter: Tag at least 3 friends, the event host (@TheNokoAni) and VitaminCoin (@Vitamin_Coin)
Use the hashtags: #VitaminCoin, #thegood13, #13_essential_vitamins_and_minerals
